Finally

it has happened to me

right in front of my face

and I just can not hide it

Happy Birthday, Risa!

Suddenly, the language of Shakespeare has taken control of this blog, and it is not because our dearest friend Risa cannot follow us in the lengua de Cervantes, but just because we want to be pretentious :-)

Over the last dozen years, we've watched so many movies (some times during work hours!) and TV shows/Academy Awards with her (in addition to live "foreign" soccer games at unbelievable times for the U.S.), that we feel obliged to deliver as a birthday gift a list of 10 songs which appear in movies, some of them we saw with her... others she must have definitely watched and enjoyed (otherwise, time to see them, gurl!).

All along this "top 10" you will get an idea of who Risa is, not only because of her cultural versatility (living in Berkeley and married to the Argentine/Italian/Mexican/Spanish/Whatelse? community has to come with something like that, yes?), but also because of the strong (a momma bear has nothing on her!), energetic (she's like non-stop) and very interesting (can talk about anything!) person she is.

Enough words! Get yourself a big bag of popcorn flooded with butter (American Style!), sit down, relax and enjoy the show. Happy Birthday, Risa! We wish your life to be full of more beautiful movies and songs, and family, and good friends, and gnocci, and asados, and paella, and... shhh! the show is about to start! (and turn off that phone, the kids will be fine! ;-) )
